One of the toughest outcomes of my getting laid off is that we have to let go of our nanny. Marlena has been terrific. She hopes to land with a nice family in Hingham. See her profile in Sitter City, including my recommendation.
Today Jayden had her school bus orientation session, getting ready for kindergarten in the fall. She had a great time. Such a confident, joyful little girl. She headed straight for the back of the bus and sat with the boys. Uh oh. She's gonna be trouble in ten years...
But for now she's daddy's little girl.
Heck, in my heart she'll always be my little girl...
